White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt celebrated Valentine’s Day with her six-month-old son, Nicholas ‘Niko’ Robert, as she posted an adorable series of snaps to her Instagram Friday.
Leavitt, who is the youngest press secretary in history at age 27, posed in a red turtleneck for the holiday as she held her son in her arms.
Niko was dressed in an adorable Valentine’s Day-themed set complete with a red long sleeve t-shirt and pants that were covered in tiny hearts, which appeared to be from Target, available for just $10.
In the first photo in the carousel she posted, Niko had a big smile on his face, while the second picture showed her giving him a kiss on the cheek while holding him in the air.
‘Happy Valentine’s Day from me and my little valentine,’ Leavitt wrote in the caption of the photo.
In the comments section of her post, many users gushed over how adorable her son is.
‘He’s precious. Enjoy him. You are doing an amazing job,’ one person wrote.
Another agreed, ‘We are so lucky to have you! Your baby is precious too.’

Leavitt, a New Hampshire native, welcomed Niko this past July with her husband, Nicholas Riccio, 59.
Riccio popped the question on Christmas Day 2023, which she announced via Instagram at the time, calling him ‘the man of [her] dreams.’
It’s unclear when they officially tied the knot, but the press secretary has ‘wife’ in her Instagram bio and appears to wear a wedding band.
Leavitt was famously was on maternity leave when Donald Trump was shot at during a rally in Pennsylvania, which encouraged her fast return to work – just four days after giving birth.
During an October interview with The Conservateur, Leavitt opened up about balancing motherhood and her job with Donald Trump.
‘Leaving the baby every day to go to work, it does break your heart,’ Leavitt confessed to the outlet. ‘It’s incredibly challenging emotionally, physically, spiritually.’
‘It would have been a lot easier for me to respectfully decline this job offer and enjoy this past year in the peace and comfort of my previous job,’ she continued.

‘But I know I’m doing it for a bigger cause — to win this election,’ Leavitt added at the time.
She also spoke about the surprise call she received from Donald Trump and Melania while she was recovering in the hospital after giving birth.
‘It was incredibly warm and kind,’ Leavitt divulged.
‘He wanted to check in. He asked me how I was doing,’ she explained.
After Trump spoke to her, he then handed the phone to Melania.
‘Mrs. Trump and I talked about how wonderful it is to be a mother to a boy,’ Leavitt said.
‘They spoke about their love for Barron, and the president cracked a joke: ‘We have a little boy, but he’s not so little now!”
